For such a tiny island Ireland has so much to see and do!
And with Dolmen Transport you can see it all, whilst travelling in the upmost levels of luxury and comfort.
Note that none of these tours are set, you can alter or chop and change them however you wish.
For example, you might wish to combine the Ring of Kerry Tour with the Burren Tour, or perhaps the Long Way to Tipperary Tour with the Midlands Tour. Or you might wish to design your very own tour yourself.
The Burren Tour:
Take the trip of a lifetime and explore the magic, the mystery and unique scenic experience that is the Burren.
See the famous Cliffs of Moher (pictured right), the prehistoric burial chambers, or Dolmens, (from which our company name derives) and the peculiar glacier-sculpted landscapes which have facinated travellers and locals alike for thousands of years.
The West:
Discover the West!
The West of Ireland has so much to offer not just to the tourist but to the domestic vacationist too!
From shopping in the lively streets of the West's capital, Galway, to pony trekking through the bogs of Connemara, or sitting in a pub with good Irish music, a nice pint of Guinness and a seafood platter – what could be better?
The Ring of Kerry:
This is perhaps one of Ireland's most iconic tours, with thousands of tourists, from all over the world, coming to tour the ring every year.
Highlights of the tour include Killarney National Park where one can take a romantic horse-drawn tour of the park itself as well as stunning mountain passes, lush, yawning valleys and some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe.
West Cork Tour:
Take a trip to Cork, Ireland's largest county also known as the "Rebel County", sporting some of the most incredible sights and rugged coastlines to be found anywhere.
Starting in Cork City, the second-largest city in the Republic of Ireland, our journey continues through some of the most beautiful towns and villages in the country such as Clonakilty and Kinsale on the Atlantic coast, and Blarney, home to the famous Blarney Stone.
Sunny Southeast Tour:
You always hear people talking about the West of Ireland but what about the East?
The reason is because the Irish want to keep that particular secret to themselves! The southeast of Ireland, known locally as the "Sunny Southeast", has some of the most amazing sights and unspoilt scenery in the country.
The Long Way to Tipperary:
It's a long way to Tipperary! It's a long way to go!
Though with Dolmen Transport you'll hardly notice!
Highlights include twin towns of Killaloe/Ballina either side of the Shannon River right on the entrance to Lough Derg, the castle town of Cahir, Thurles, the home of Irish sport and the famous Rock of Cashel.
The Midlands Tour:
Travel through the very heart of Ireland and discover the locales of lore and legend!
Highlights include the riverside town of Portumna on the Shannon, Birr Castle & Gardens, Ballinasloe, Ireland's horse-racing town as well as some of Ireland's premier historical sights and treasures, the monastic sites at Clonmacnoise and Kells, the ancient passage tomb of Newgrange and the Hill of Tara – the Celtic capital of Ireland.
The Best of Ireland:
So you're the impatient type yeah? Not the type to spend all your time in one place. You've only got so much time here anyway but you want to see as much of Ireland as you can; not the west of Ireland, not the south or the east or the north of Ireland – you want to see all of Ireland!
Well not a problem then because we've already designed a tour with people like you in mind. So now you pack in as much Ireland as is possible short of trying to get it into your suitcase before you go home.
