Take the trip of a lifetime on a twelve-day whirlwind tour through Ireland's best and most exclusive golf courses and country clubs.
This tour constitutes the creme de la creme of Irish golfing and you'll soon understand why so many professional golfers rank Ireland as among the top five golfing destinations in the world.
Day One - Adare Country Club:
Our tour begins in the picturesque town of Adare and the Adare Manor golf course.
This is a scenic, yet challenging course, set against the historic backdrop of Desmond Castle and the Ruins of the old Franciscan Abbey, and serves as the perfect introduction to your Irish golfing holiday experience.
Day Two - Ballybunion:
The Ballybunion links course in County Kerry is hailed as one of the best links courses around and was a favourite of former president Bill Clinton.
Day Three - Waterville:
One of the best links courses not just in Ireland but possibly the world. Beloved by amateurs and pros alike, Waterville, right on the very edge of the Atlantic ocean, is a truely breathtaking location in which to play.
Day Four - Ring of Kerry:
Hailed by many as the best parkland course in Ireland, the Ring of Kerry golf course serves as the perfect counterpoint to the previous day's links course. In terms of design, playability, and, of course, aesthetics and scenery, it once again demonstrates, quite strongly, why so many people believe that Ireland is one of the greatest countries in the world in which to golf.
Day Five - Killarney:
Day Five takes us to one of Ireland's best known and best loved tourist destinations, Killarney.
Thousands of tourists come to Killarney every year from every corner of the world to avail of its awe-inspiring scenery and magnificent golf courses.
Our destination, Killarney Golf Course, offers not one, but three different courses, each with its own unique charm and challenges.
Day Six - Fota Island Golf Club:
Just off the coast of Cork City, is Fota Island, home to one of Ireland's oldest and most beloved golf courses.
This course is one of the many prestigious courses to have played host to the Murphy's Irish Open and is highly popular with
both Irish golfers and foreign visitors alike.
Day Seven - Mount Juliet:
Often called "the Augusta of Europe", Mount Juliet is a fantastic parkland course. Golfing great Jack Nicklaus was brought on board to help design the course which has played host to a number of large golfing events, including the Irish Open and the American Express Championship.
Day Eight - Druid's Glen:
Voted European Golf Course of the Year in 2000, Druid's Glen takes its name from the Druids, or ancient pagan priests, who lived in the area centuries previous. Proof of this can still be seen in the shape of a Druid's altar on the 12th hole.
Day Nine - Royal Dublin Golf Club:
Ireland's second-oldest golf course, the Royal Dublin is another links course, this time situated on the Irish Sea.
The course has played host to the Irish Open on several occasions.
Day Ten - The K Club:
This parkland course has played host to the European Open since 1995 and is set to host the 2006 Ryder Cup.
It is therefore, undoubtably, a fantastic course, full of suprises with a unique atmosphere and charm all of its own.
Day Eleven - Glasson Golf Club:
Designed by Irish golfing legend Christy O'Connor Jr, this wonderful course is situated right on Lough Ree, one of the larger lakes upon the majestic Shannon River. The stunning scenery is matched only by the course design itself, thoroughly enjoyable overall, but quite tricky in places.
Day Twelve - Dromoland Castle:
Another facinating, beautiful and historically-charged golfing location, Dromoland Castle will serve as your final golfing destination. You might say we've been saving the best for last since Dromoland truely is one of the greatest golfing locations in Ireland, if not in Europe, and Dromoland Castle itself has played host to many US presidents and other dignitaries.
